Hey Everyone, I think it's about time I posted this up now so we can give this a shot. Though we can all easily just talk on Skype now, it would be a good idea to utilize this as well, and we can post whatever notes we have through our conversation. (Just in case anyone was not present.)
Please check this page regularly. Here are notes I took a while back. Which more or less summarizes the direction we will take with this RP. This particular post may be updated as well to make finalized changes and updates easier to find and refer to.
New Rocket Knight RP
Rules:
-Up to 4-5 characters per player. (excluding NPCs, and main villains.) Updated amount of characters may be discussed later.
-Respect other Player and their characters in both RP and OOC.
-Check the RP's OOC regularly and stay involved with RP planning.
-No Out of Character conversations within the RP. That is what the OOC thread is for.
Rules about Posting:
-Posts MUST be no shorter than 2 paragraphs.
-Be descriptive and detailed as possible.
-If a character is interacting with yours (or if you want a character to interact with your's), you must respond to that character in some way. Ignoring a player's character may cause feelings of ill importance. All characters are to be as equal as possible.
Possible RP format(s)
-Will be worked in Chapters, where one chapter is it's own set of threads. The main thread of the chapter will only be used until the Characters get separated into groups for the sake of missions and such.
-Depending on rether or not main characters need to split into groups or not, there will be separate threads for each group within the Chapter. This is to help prevent confusion on who is where, and may also quicken the pace of the RP.
-once a group as met the end of their goal for that chapter, they must stop and wait for the rest to catch up.
-After the rest have caught up, depending on what everyone agrees on, we will either start the next chapter, have everyone got to the original thread for that chapter to finish the chapter first.
-Once every thread/Chapter has come to a close, they will be locked so that no further posts can be made.
Plot Points
Setting: Mostly Zebulos
Time Setting: 8 years After Gedol Empire attacks.
Plot Summary:
-New Knights have been recruited already.
-Zephyrus is in a recovering state, Knights are helping with rebuilding and restoring the Kingdom and the people's trust.
-Becasue of the kingdom's weakened state, Bandits and other small-time criminals try to take advantage by plundering villiages. The Rocket Knights try to keep the in check.
-a group of Bandits/Rouges have been reported plundering villages and attacking refugees for their goods. Rocket Knights persue them.
-Meanwhile, Koal Kingdom Leader (Rasputin) is plotting to invade Zephyrus, in an attempt to sieze land and resources.
Introduction of Characters.
-The Rookies will be sparring with eachother when Sparkster and the other veteran Rocket Knights, come over to issue a special task for them.
-The task is to hunt down and subdue Bandits that Kaji has reported to Sparkster about. The older more experienced Knights will be on other duties and therefore must have the younger knights work as a team to stop the bandits.
- Meanwhile the other Rocket Knights will be focused on their missions. (These may or may not be RPed, as we want to focus on the younger knights first)
