My name is Amber, but you can all call me Kohaku or by my username, Kohakuchan19. I am a College Student who is studying Game Design at Joliet Junior College in Illinois. I am Also a pretty decent artist, having mostly been self-taught. My favorite style would have to be Cartoons and Anime. I grew up with video games and cartoons and have very much fallen in love with both. I hope that one day, I will have a happy career in the game industry working for Konami or one of my other favorite companies.
If you haven't noticed by the forum's title, and the main focus of this forum, I am a big fan of the Rocket Knight Franchise. Rocket Knight Adventures and Sparkster were one of the first games I truly experienced as a child, and I have always held the series close to my heart. RK really is a fantastic Game franchise, and I hope that one day Konami will bring my favorite Opossum out in the open more and make the series shine once more. Of course I do like other games as well, like Gradius, DDR, Final Fantasty (prior to X) Megaman, etc. I could go on forever. Though I'm a HUGE Konami fan, I must admit... I'm not a big fan of Metal Gear. I like the story and everything.. I'm just now a fan of the gameplay. Sorry boys.
I am generally a very tolerant person whose easy to become friends with, but I do not like it when I see others being disrespectful or hurtful to others or myself. I personally will only take a verbal beating for so long before I flip my lid (and believe me you don't want it to go that far, I get pretty naggy...) I like to see others show off their creativity and ideas, and encourage them to go even further, as I myself strive to do the same. I might also be a bit random at times, but people usually find it funny when I do something crazy. I'm an Artist after all, we all tend to be a bit eccentric.
I have been Role-Playing for about ten or so years now. I believe I was 12 when I first started anyway.. (5 if you count "pretend games".. which would make it about 17 years) So I have quite a bit of experience under my belt, so if anyone has any questions for me, feel free to ask. I won't bite... unless you bite first.
