~ Personality:
A cheerful lady with a little bossy attitude at times. Namid presents herself curious around things she never saw in her life before and is openhearted to those that she's close with. Being the strong and funny big sister for Dohate she doesn't seem to be a complicated fellow at first, but if something's bugging her or her impatience boils up you better watch out for a lot of complaining. She doesn't like to get lectured when something didn't worked the way it was planned due to her uncooperative attitude within battles, causing her to yell at people once her blood is in overheat.
Nonetheless she's not a bad and unfriendly girl at all; she carries a very soft side within her. Her father Adahy and grandfather Keme taught her that everything comes with a consequence and someday there will be a time where she needs to overcome her stubborn behaviour to show everyone that she's capable of being a 'great leader', her mother on the other hand taught her to never lose her soft and caring heart "True strength comes from the heart, not the weapon you are fighting with".
~ Story:
Born inside a nomadic tribe. Namid and her family live far outside of Kingdom Zephyrus and travel from one place to another. Their tribe origins are unknown, but according to the stories her grandfather once told her the Devotindos Empire is to blame for this saddening result of being without any place to call home.
Whenever they're near the 'great gate that keeps evil away', referring to the entrance to the Zephyrus Kingdom, Namid takes the chances to sneak into the Kingdom to learn as much of the 'other world within the walls' as possible. "Young curiosity shall not be disallowed" her grandfather often tend to say, calming the anger of her parents that fear their daughter get into any trouble.
At some point of their travels near the entrance to the Devotindos Empire they met a nice armadillo family which became friends very quickly. Armor, one of the family's sons, became a close friend to Namid. Due to his size, strength and of course his job as blacksmith no one would even think about messing with him. As time passed on Namid started to develop a certain jealousy towards those who were living inside Zephyrus Kingdom. Having a lot of money and 'fancy outfits' would be a 'right step' for their tribe to start a new chapter of life, but due to disagreements with her family she decided to start 'her own thing'.
Though not being skilled in fighting at all she and Armor worked on their own equipment that'll suit them for being capable of working as Rocket Knights and Black Knights, though they don't intend to join forces with the Zephyrus Kingdom nor with the Devotindos Empire or any other Kingdom of Elhorn. They decided to stick with the name "Freelancer Knights", knights that work for either side as long as the payment is suiting for the missions they need to take care of.
~ Fighting Style:
Without her Rocket Knight/Black Knight armor Namid mostly focuses on her agility. Being small and light comes in handy for dodging any attacks and makes it also hard for her enemies to catch up to her. Climbing up on trees (or other things) give her a good chance of escaping too many enemies or to distract them, giving her friend Armor the chance for an open attack.
Her weapons are two Katar which are light to handle but still dangerous. There are multiple ways for her to attack her opponent, no matter if she's doing it directly or through an ambush. Due to the strange material that was build into them by Armor she's able to shoot small energy bullets with rapid fire style. They won't do much damage, but they're good enough to keep foes away from her.
~ Relationship/s:
- Adahy and Zonta (Parents):
Namid shows high respect towards Zonta and Adahy. Both care a lot about her as much as she cares about them. The real reason behind her work as Freelancer Knight is to support them with money, giving them a chance to live in a 'better place' rather than being a nomadic tribe anymore. Due to her more future-like thinking she seems to be unable to see that Zonta and Adahy don't care about money as long as their family is healthy and out of trouble.
- Dohate (Brother):
There's not much to say about their relationship. As older sister she fears a lot about his wellbeing, always trying to be the cheerful and funny big sister he grew up with. Being aware of his naive yet brave nature Namid takes care that he won't be as suicidal as she is, always telling him to not become a Freelancer Knight if he doesn't want to make 'Mama and Papa painfully sad'.
- Keme (Grandfather):
The 'lovely old geezer' of the family. Keme is a very old opossum that often starts to talk about the days where he was still young and popular. Namid has a very strong bond to him after her grandmother died and loves to listen to his stories even nowadays, no matter how often she heard them. She's still surprised that he's so vivid and healthy with his 80 years.
- Armor (Close Friend/Team Partner):
The 'big fella you don't want to mess around' and Namid's closest friend. Despite being different races they come along with each other pretty well. She can't stop using him for her climbing abilities since 'he's as tall as a mountain!'. Also he's the one who calms her down when she's close to her 'punch you right in the face!' mode.
- Armor's Family:
Armor's family is her second family. Of course she comes around with them a little bit more since they don't interfere her plans of being a Freelancer Knight. They do care more about Armor's wellbeing, but since he's a strong and reliable young boy they don't worry too much.
- Zephyrian Inhabiters:
The Zephyrian people are the 'trustworthy light-colored brothers and sisters behind the great gates' for Namid. Though every single person she meets is a stranger for her she can't ignore them, always catching on to some girls/boys to learn as much about Kingdom Zephyrus as possible. Mostly they're the influence for her desire to live inside the 'great gates' of Zephyrus.
- Other Kingdoms:
Namid never entered any of the other Kingdom as her normal self. As Black Knight she and Armor joined forces with the Wolf Kingdom and Devotindos Empire once for a spying job, but she actually has a very low opinion about those two Kingdoms due to the stories she heard by the Zephyrian people. It was just the money that caught her eyes.
- Sparkster & the Rocket Knights *:
The "Brave yet naive blond haired idiotic brother" as Namid loves to call him. She heard a lot of stories about his great work to protect the Zephyrian Kingdom multiple times by some of the inhabiters, seemingly popular and respected by them. She never had contact to Sparkster until she and Armor decided to work as Black Knights and got caught by him when they were hired as spies under contract with the Devotindos Empire. Instead of fighting him they retreated, alarmed by the stories she remembered about him as Rocket Knight.
When both joined the Rocket Knight side they had the first chance to meet Sparkster in person. Friendly, warmhearted with a big happy-go-lucky charisma, that's all Namid saw within him. At first she didn't believed that he was the Rocket Knight everyone was so proud of. He acted a bit clumsy and childish at first glance, killing the imagination of a professional strong man with guts that was able to end a war all by his own, but this changed drastically when they had the chance to learn more about the job as Rocket Knight after a hard training with him.
She slowly understood why everyone was so carefree with him being in charge as the 'great hero of Zephyrus' even though he didn't appeared all serious from the outside. After a long conversation with Sparkster Namid and Armor were informed that there's another knight called Axel Gear, once a Rocket Knight like he was and more or less his 'brother'. Of course he didn't called him brother, but Namid and Armor saw them as brothers due to the past they shared with each other.
Knowing about his past and how he evolved from a frightened small boy into a carefree but serious Rocket Knight... it was this little detail that opened Namid's eyes about his 'greatness'. It wasn't his skill, it was his overall personality. She highly respects him and is always honored to fight by his side.
- Axel Gear & the Black Knights *:
The "Selfish, always yelling black haired insane brother", the best way to describe the leader of the Black Knights.
Axel Gear... the first encounter Namid and Armor had when they worked as spies for the Devotindos Empire. There is nothing much to say between their relationship. Namid dislikes his selfish attitude and the fact he thinks he's the greatest knight in history, causing them to fight against each other nearly everytime once he managed to break her patience. Thanks to Armor they never had a chance to fight, especially once they knew that Axel Gear was trained by Mifune Sanjuro alongside with Sparkster. The traitor of the Rocket Knights that was chased by Sparkster after he injured their master and who got banned by the King of Zephyrus.
When working as Black Knights they mostly avoid any contact, but there have been several situations where they needed to work with each other as long as Namid and Armor had a contract with the Devotindos Empire, Wolf Kingdom or any other Kingdom where Axel is also within the party.
Training is the most important part for a knight, and Axel loves to fight. Her agility mostly saved her life when they 'fought just for fun and thrills', but sometimes Armor needed to stop Axel when he started to cheat just to win against her, causing Axel to yell most of the times because their 'fun fight' was interrupted.
Out of curiosity she tried to get behind the reasons for his betrayal, but rather than gaining any answer to her question he's always asking her why she's joining the side of the Black Knights when she has no real reason to fight against the Zephyrus Kingdom, it's all about the money, he's aware of it, but this isn't enough to join forces with different Kingdoms or calling themselves 'Black Knights'. Axel secretly believes that she and Armor are spies of the Zephyrus Kingdom, but he can't prove it.
*Important Note:
Both relationship biographies can be used for the Main Series and Spin-Off Series of Rocket Knight, but I'm aiming more for the Spin-Off Series rather than the Main Series. It gives more free space to develop plots, character personalities and relationships.
