Oh my, it's been a while since I registered myself in an RolePlay based Forum.

Hahaha, you might guess who I am, but for the sake of being polite I'll still introduce myself.

My Name is KokoaMinto, formerly known as Saphiria-chan on DeviantArt. I'm 24 years old, living in Germany and, like all of you can guess, I'm a female.
Besides of playing Videogames and drawing I love to do inline-skating, swimming, meeting up with friends and writing RPs. I'm not really skilled with english RPs so please excuse my horrible english, it's not my motherlanguage afterall and though I learn it a lot besides of Japanese I still kinda suck in certain points *is shot*

How I came to Rocket Knight maybe? Well I never grew up with it, I grew up with Nintendo through and through, but thanks to my best friend who still has a copy of Rocket Knight Adventures for her Sega MegaDrive/Genesis I kinda rolled into it. I got my hands on the SNES Spin-off about 2 years ago for a good 'n cheap price and even nowadays it's very fun to play. I saw some playthrough videos for the Rocket Knight Adventures 2 game and well... it's not as bad as most people say. Same goes with the 2010 sequel developed by Climax Group. Every game has it's flaws and since Rocket Knight hasn't been 'alive' for quite some years I'd say they gave their best and I'm glad that they created Rocket Knight 2010 so we get at least a little sign of "Hey, Rocket Knight's not dead!". Let us all be thankful for this step!

Ah sorry, I'm so uncreative with introductions that it's a pain in the neck to think about good stuff to talk about x'D

Welcome to the forum Kokoa. and don't worry about poor english. I had some japanese guy here once who could barely do english at all. ^^; I know a teensy bit of Japanese, but I suck at it overall (ZIP IT Mitsukoshi)

Any who, I'm Kohakuchan19, You can call me Amber or Kohaku if you want. (they basically mean the same thing lol) I'm the head admin of this board, though sadly, I'm not normally what one would call "active" on the forum; mostly due to college and projects. But It's not like I'm not ever around.

Yes, Japanese can be a pain in the neck especially when it comes down to Kanji and translating. German people tent to say "English is such a hard language!", but to be honest the hardest language to learn is German because we have like billions of rules and we're changing the ways of writing certain words from year to year.
For Japanese people it's still hard to learn English because there aren't many teachers that can teach it, or because there isn't much of an interest learning it. Just a very few artists like Hikaru Utada, Miwa Yoshida of Dreams Come True and Jun'Ichi Kanemaru can speak and sing fluid English.

Irgh I'm getting into my nerd mode again. What I want to say is that you should never give up learning it. Japanese is a 'memory' language, you're forced to learn it everyday so you won't fall out of the things you've already learned. But to do that you also need to be always fire and flame for it - without any motivation you'll lose interest on it very fast and start to forget even the simple basics.

funny story, me and my family lived in Germany for a year or so when I was a tot (my little bro was born there) my first words were an awkward mixture of German and English so my parents and their neighbors/friends almost had to work together just to figure out what I was trying to say. XD I do remember my very first word being "Austa" because that was the name of this awesome German Shepard my mom used to look after while her owners were away.

Oh really? May I have permission to ask where exactly you and your family lived in Germany? I hope you enjoyed your time though the weather can be very awkward from time to time (especially this year, holy crap!).
Austa? Okay that's a very interesting name, I hear that name for the very first time in my life. Gosh German Shepards are such wonderful animals and child friendly ♥
