Due to constraints, I have yet to get the Mega Drive version's box and manual, so here's the Super Famicom one for now:

Sweet. :3
Incidentally, do you own a Genesis? I own several models, I find them all over the place in my area.

Sadly, I don't own an actual Sega Genesis at this time, so I have to settle with the Retron 3 for right now.

Neat! I think you should take a pic with all the games in it. It'll be neat to see.

It's kind of impressing what you got there from Japan, sometimes it's even more worth getting your games from Japan directly rather than searching for other Countries because... seriously, I was trying to get EarthBound for the SNES from USA and it was like 500+$. Are you kidding me? I get the Japanese Version "Mother 2" for 10 ~ 20€. Even Megaman X3... nearly 400€ for it. Japan? 10 ~ 20€ again.
I've heard that especially the Super Nintendo game "Sparkster" and the sequel "Sparkster: Rocket Knight Adventures 2" are pretty high with their prices as well, but I got the SNES game for about 5€ or even less.
But there's something else that actually interests me. It's the Retron 3. What. The. Hell. Is. This. Thing? (Off-Topic stuff) I've read so many things about it but it still makes no real sense to me! So this little thing is actually capable of playing *any* game no matter what Country it comes from and which console you *naturally* need for it? Or am I just too dumb to understand? Things like that could be pretty handy for me since I love to collect old school games as well, even if I need to import them from Japan.

Oh hey there, KokoaMinto! Welcome to the Rocket Knight RP! Yeah, import games are sometimes very expensive and pretty difficult to find, especially when they are in their complete sets (box, cart, & manual). Speaking of import games, while I only have the American and Japanese versions, perhaps I should purchase the European versions of the original RKA trilogy to further complete my collection, once I get paid that is. At first, I really didn't want to do it, but thanks for reminding me to just go for it! After all, I usually rely on extensive research and gathering enough reference material on various things. To me, I find that very crucial, especially when I'm working on my Sparkster fancomic. Yep, but I think Hyperkin's Retron 3 is compatible for NTSC-U and NTSC-J games, so I don't know if it works with PAL games, since I don't own any for the gaming console at this time. I'll have to look into it later on. And before I forget, there's going to be a Retron 5 that's coming out soon, which would help me a great deal with PAL and Gameboy games, despite being HDMI.

Thank you kindly Rapid!
I can imagine how hard it is to get the games with box, cart & manual, of course those are always more of value than the cart itself. I was searching for the JP versions of the games for myself but... well let's say they're kinda rare and I wasn't even able to find anything under the Japanese title on Ebay, which is a real shame. I found the Japanese Version of... I believe it was Rocket Knight Adventures 2 once but the guy wanted to have 94€ for it! I was like 'seriously, dude?' because... I thought the sequel and the Spin-Off games weren't a great hit, so why selling them so expensive, then? Logic much? But I wish you a lot of luck finding the EU versions of the games, actually you will find them easily since... yeah, some people actually don't think that those games are worth anything. Well but it's a big plus for collectors like you are!
Oh really? That's actually good to know! I hope it'll work on German TVs since well, I'm German and I was always curious about Retron, but I was never really sure if it's able to be used for German gamers since sometimes people say it's compatible with every country and some people say it's not. Makes it understandable that I totally have no clue if it's worth for me getting one or not. I'd really would like to be able to play my Seiken Densetsu 3 game for Super Nintendo afterall, and of course all other games I want to import in the future. Maybe you can tell me what the Retron is able to play? I mean game wise? NES, SNES, Mega Drive...? Or is it capable of playing all games no matter what system? I'm confused since I see that the retron has 2 cartridge openings.
Oh gosh I hope I'm not getting on your nerves with all my questions ;_;
