That's actually pretty impressive. I only own the first game, and it's the only one I've played.
Ironically, I was the one who introduced Mitty to that game, so I'm responsible for starting the chain of events that lead to the creation of this whole board.

Coolies!  While I don't know any websites that contain mostly and/or complete NTSC-J game manual archives, I plan to buy those versions of Rocket Knight Adventures (MD), Sparkster (MD), & Sparkster (SFC). In fact, I frequently do some research and gather plenty of reference material for ideas/projects. ;D |

Awesome, and of course there's no language barrier since they're all platformers. I know the first game had several changes for the US version (the opening cutscene made no sense to me as a kid), what about the other two?
Incidentally, if you're looking for references, be sure to check out the Sparkster story that ran briefly in Sonic The Comic. I'm sure there's a few torrents with scans of it out there somewhere.

Yeah, the RKA/Sparkster games tend to have 'plot holes' here and there.  Also, thanks for letting me know, but I already got the references of the comic.  |

Not to be rude, but This forum existed long before I even met Mitsukoshi. In fact I believe I started this originally in 2010-2011 for the sole purpose to use it for Rocket Knight related RPs with some friends of mine. sadly most of them don't come on here anymore since they all have better things to do. << |

Oh. Whoops! I never saw anyone here besides you, Kirby, and Tristan, so I assumed he was one of the first members. Me and my big damn ego! XD
Regardless, I did introduce him to it. On an unrelated note, anyone willing to help put together a setting and campaign for a Sunset Riders RP? I love that game, and I sadly don't know enough about Castlevania to do an RP of that.

Anyway, back to the main topic, while I have the JAP version of Sparkster (SEGA) on its way, the other two, RKA and Sparkster (SNES), would have to wait until November due to money issues striking me down yet again.  Since I actually found them at Ebay, I just hope I would be able to obtain them just in time... |

What I'm wondering is, will you be going after the PAL versions of those games, too?
How many other games have you imported, by the way? I have The Chaos Engine, Cannon Fodder, and Maui Mallard (HIGHLY underrated) from Europe, and Phantasy Star 1 from Japan.
All of those are MD games, by the way.

I'll see what I can I do once I get paid in November, because I really don't want to spend so much.
As for what import games I have currently: Snobow Kids Plus (PS1), Impact Racing (PS1), and Quake III Arena w/ Team Arena (PC Retail).

Here's a quick update: I managed to purchase the NTSC-J versions of Rocket Knight Adventures and Sparkster (SEGA). ;D While I have yet to receive them through the mail, I intend to purchase the NTSC-J version of Sparkster (SFC). Got it purchased. I will, however, purchase the PAL versions of the three games if I have enough funds for November... I decided to wait on the PAL versions, due to continuous errands getting in the way.  |
