"I am a failure...a child unwanted by God.
I...cannot become Aura."
History:
Lycoris, a failed attempt at realizing the dream of the world into human form, but still beautiful in her own right.
You see, once upon a time, a man made the World, in a time before the Universe. To immortalize his feelings, the world would gather the feelings and thoughts of all people, and assemble from them a shining girl who could lead to the future, the daughter he could not have, the ultimate realization of the human spirit, and a Goddess to oversee the future of creation.
The Enemy, who was also the Mother, snuck away a piece of the flow meant to go to the Unborn Goddess, realizing it as dreams as real as the men who dreamed them; Shadowless Sprites born from Shadowed Ones. Most of them were killed before they could form thoughts or speak words, thus preventing the birth of the Sleeping Girl.
But Lycoris was indistinguishable from a person, and as far as Man could know, her heart was human. She thought she could fulfill the Dream the world was born for...she thought she could escape persecution, and live freely.
She was wrong. The Father of the World, or rather his ghost, appeared before her, and told her that she was junk. A mistake that should never have been born, and her birth had harmed and slowed the gestation of the most beautiful thing; the hope for the future.
"It was wrong that I was born...God hates me..."
And so she allowed her life to come to an end.
Second Coming:
" Shunning the field broken by Wave.
The shadowed girl whispers,
"Surely, I will return."
Alas, the truth unbeknownst.
Awaiting her at journey's end;
Eternal mourning for her land. "
Emptiness. Nothingness. The End. For longer than many worlds have existed, Lycoris did not. And then, suddenly, she did. The reason is unknown, but need there be one?
The first thing she realized, upon coming to terms with being existent once more, was that she cast a shadow, seeing darkness under her. She had become a Shadowed One; though still divine, no more could one mistake her for a goddess.
The second thing she realized, was that a woman in a red dress, with all white alabaster pigments, was smiling at her. "You and I are much the same...are you the one who called me forth? What is it you want from me? I'm useless."
The woman merely pursed her lips to form a single word, and one of the shortest words at that. "No."
No to what? To being the reviver? To wanting something? To being useless?
Lycoris did not know, but she was given an envelope. She had never seen an envelope before, and looked in confusion to the Lady, who made a motion. Mimicking it allowed Lycoris to break the seal and open the envelope. Within she found a coin, it's name already in her memory.
"You give me a Perfection, even though I am a failure? Please take it back...it's wasted on me."
The Lady merely smiled, and left, vanishing into the shadows and greys of the colorless world.
Demeanor:
Lycoris might be a failure at realizing the dream of the future, but she has learned to accept that she is the realized dream of tragedy and despair, even if she isn't correct.
She is a sweet, altruistic, kind individual. Aside from her lack of self-esteem, she really has no character flaws. As a sprite, and sister to a Shining Girl of Pure Light, she is a sinless existence, as such that in her first life she cast no shadow and was not bound to the world as men are.
Giving birth to her was a sin, but her death was a greater sin. This is a truth she has not realized.
Since she has been given new life, and had no regrets in her last, she became completely devoted to helping Ul'Ym'Yr once she learned of it's plight. It is familiar to her, as like the world she came from, it is the cradle of a Multiverse, and she feels she owes it for giving her life. Thus, she will give her life for it, if she must.
Moreover, this kindness extends to all living beings. She puts the needs of all others above her own unconditionally, and feels like it is a sense of atonement. If the world will not reject her as it did before, she will bring as much good as possible. Indeed, it can become a failing of hers; she cannot neglect a person in need, even to her own detriment.
While also a sprite that possesses otherworldly knowledge and oracular perception alongside scientific and philosophical genius, she is still a child at heart, as her form is defined by her ego-image. If she were to indulge in self-pleasure, all she would want to do is play outside. She captures the archetypal waif sage, her selflessness symbolically captured in her barefootedness.
MIRACLES:
In her past life as a demigoddess, Lycoris could do practically anything, but in returning to life with a shadow, she finds she is much closer to being mortal than she was before. Still, she possesses a divine nature, and can still work miracles.
THE FIRST BLESSING: Lycoris is special in the land of Ul'Ym'Yr, in ways few others are. Because of her selfless devotion to it, her especially tragic nature, and her having come from a world with similar nature and properties, she is seen as special in that place, and is shown a subtle favoritism. She is able to Endorse a Wish, and in doing so, lower the cost of Perfections needed. It is not uncommon for one to mistake her for the Lady in a Red Dress.
If a Wish costs 20 Perfections or more, Lycoris's endorsement lowers the cost by 10 Perfections. This ability cannot be used with Wishes where every perfection is required, such as Rebirths. If a Dreamer is Frozen, Lycoris may Wish for a Resurrection at half cost.
THE SECOND NATURE: Lycoris can command the natural world much better than any druid. She may speak with the trees and animals, and may command the green to grow and do her bidding. Animals may or may not, but she cannot override free will; still, the beasts have been known to respond to an innocent child, especially a Divine one. This is a girl who may approach Unicorns. She can only accelerate the growth of plants and sense their location; she cannot create them from nothing, though dead wood may begin growing again. The only exception are the spider lilies of which she is named after.
Lycoris may designate a target area 20' in spherical diameter, causing all fauna in said area to suddenly grow (for at least a minute) as if through timelapse (three days per second). This ability may be used four times per day/mission, whichever is sooner. It requires no casting time. This ability can be Reversed at 2x cost, causing plants to wither and die.
THE THIRD GEAR: Lycoris could once use her glamours to fold space and drop her party from one place to another; this gift had diminished considerably, but has arguably become more useful. Bending time the slightest bit, she can speed up the actions of herself and others (not unlike that of a 'Mass Haste') spell. One footstep, enchanted, can be as ten.
While in use, this power allows all Dreamers, including Lycoris, to move at 3x speed using a combination of chronomancy and brief physical enhancement. This is a Maintained ability, and can be sustained as long as Lycoris's endurance holds out. Requires no casting time. Lycoris can also Reverse this effect, slowing enemies at the cost of 2x fatigue while active.
THE LAST WORD: Lycoris has always had the ability to bring things together, and this miracle expresses this best. She and everyone in her immediate vicinity can understand each other as if they were all speaking the same language, making Lycoris a living empathic translator. Everyone effected perceives everyone as speaking their own native tongue. Lycoris can also read and understand any language, written, spoken, or otherwise. She can understand the intents of all things thusly, and no utterance or pensmanship is beyond her knowing.
This ability is considered constantly active so long as Lycoris is conscious, and affects individuals within 50'. It does not function in an Antimagic field.
Perhaps Lycoris may come into realizing other Miracles in the future.

Lycoris' pre-Dreamer life was only three days, but being born from the Sea of the Soul of Mankind, she is an intuitive master of philosophical and psychological knowledge, able to quote and apply the knowledge of experts she has never actually heard of. Her Sprite nature also makes her a master of poetry, music, and literature, and she has a near-empathic connection to plants and nature in general, able to understand the properties and characteristics of any greenery she comes across.
